Larry
E. Thomas - Vice President
Mr.
Thomas serves as Vice-President of the company responsible for promoting
domestic business development. Mr. Thomas began his career with Texaco
in 1965 and worked for several independent operators in the Gulf Coast
region before joining Triton Engineering in 1984. He served in various
operations, engineering and management positions for Triton, including
three years as president, from 1996 until 1999. During his tenure at
Triton, the company successfully drilled over 300 turnkey wells, in
both domestic and international areas. He holds a Bachelor of Science
in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College.
John
F. Monus - Project Manager
Mr. Monus functions
as an international Project Manager for primarily deepwater exploration
projects. He has worked for several major oil companies since entering
the industry in 1978, including Conoco and Esso. He has also been employed
by several large independents such as Pennzoil, Getty, and Triton Energy.
He has managed numerous exploration projects in remote, undeveloped
areas and has also supervised platform installations and FPSO operations.
Mr. Monus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering
from Louisiana State University.
Robert
S. Cade - Project Manager
Mr. Cade serves as a Senior Engineer and Project
Manager for exploration and development projects worldwide. Mr. Cade
began his career with Pennzoil in 1976 and spent 14 years with Amoco
Production Company as a drilling supervisor, drilling engineer, and
drilling superintendent, both in the Gulf of Mexico and in numerous
international locations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum
Engineerng from Texas A&M University.
Gary
L. Wallen - Director HDM, Asia-Pacific
Mr. Wallen serves as Director of Houston Drilling
Management, Asia-Pacific and also as a Project Manager for international
exploration and development projects in the Asia-Pacific region. His
began his career with Sedco, Inc. in 1974 as an engineer trainee and
advanced to rig manager on a semi-submersible unit from 1982 until 1987.
Mr. Wallen worked for a number of operating companies and served as
a drilling manager for Nicor Oil and Gas, Enron Oil and Gas, and GHK
Petroleum. Mr. Wallen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum
Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
Steve
J. Ellington - Project Manager
Mr. Ellington functions as a Senior Engineer and
international Project Manager. He began his career with Chevron in 1977
and held a number of engineering and supervisory positions, including
drilling manager, within various drilling departments of Chevron, both
in the U.S. and internationally. After leaving Chevron in 1997, he has
performed engineering and managerial functions for Enron Oil and Gas,
Mobil, and Ocean Energy. He has extensive experience in the Gulf of
Mexico as well as in many international locations. Mr. Ellington received
a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from University
of Missouri - Rolla.
Stephen
B. Foyil - Senior Engineer/Project Manager
Mr. Foyil serves as a Senior Engineer and Project
Manager. He started his career in 1977 with Phillips Petroleum Company
working exclusively on international drilling projects. Since that time
he has worked internationally for Marathon, Hamilton Brothers, British
Gas, and Triton Energy in positions ranging from drilling engineer to
operations manager. He has been involved with deepwater Gulf of Mexico
operations during the last several years. He holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Mike
Clary - Senior Engineer/Project Manager
Mr. Clary is a Senior Engineer and Project Manager
serving international clients involved in deepwater exploration and
development projects. Mr. Clary began his career with Arco Oil and Gas
in 1974 and also worked for Amoco International and Anadarko before
rejoining Arco International in 1984. Mr. Clary served as a drilling
supervisor, drilling superintendent and drilling manager during this
fifteen-year tenure with Arco International. He holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
